In 2007, a penguin was filmed doing something unusual.
While the rest of the colony walked toward the ocean, toward food, survival, the expected, one penguin turned away.
He walked in the opposite direction.
Toward distant mountains.
Toward endless ice and snow.
Toward the unknown. 

It was a quiet rebellion.
Not loud.
Not aggressive.

Just walking away.

Maybe the others survived.
But he lived.
Maybe he survived too.
Or maybe he didn’t.
We will never know.
But even if he didn’t…
he died with the honor of trying to be something different.
